Something to Crow About

We have been learning what it means to be "thankful" this month.  The students have been learning how the Pilgrim children lived.  They have also been creating a Venn Diagram comparing their lives to the lives of the Pilgrim children. Thinking of the harvest and all the hard work the Pilgrims endured...I've brought out the BREAK BOX so that we can "take a break" when we need it. This box is filled with calming gadgets, that are quiet and allow kids to reflect and relax when our workload gets heavy.

Greetings to Friends

We now have a morning greeter.  The greeter is chosen once a week and must also be our door holder for the week!

STEM activity with our Third Grade Buddies

We read this story.
Ms. Corliss's class joined us for a STEM activity to end our week.  We had a blast creating towers using index cards and dot stickers!

Ten Timid Ghosts Stem

Yesterday, in honor of STEM week, we read Ten Timid Ghosts by Jennifer O'Connell.  The students created a house for each ghost.

Smiles tell the story.  The STEM activity was SPOOKTACULAR!
