Meet our interns, Miss S and Miss A! These two lovely ladies help in the day to day prep work and assist in many activities such as math and story problem solving.  I am so lucky to have the extra support in the classroom.  The students are fortunate to have three teachers eager to help them. The interns have been working with students on addition and subtraction equations, one of our Common Core Standards.

Operations & Algebraic Thinking

Work with addition and subtraction equations.

7. Understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine if equations involving addition and subtraction are true or false. For example, which of the following equations are true and which are false? 6 = 6, 7 = 8 – 1, 5 + 2 = 2 + 5, 4 + 1 = 5 + 2.

Miss A is studying Early Childhood Education
