A few Second Graders from Mrs. McCarthy's class shared their knowledge about The Community Giving Tree in relation to their PBL on wants and needs.

The Community Giving Tree helps families in need!
Here are some facts we learned:
1. 13,500 children were helped last year.
2. The busiest time is the winter because kids need boots, coats, and gloves.
3 Kids can volunteer with an adult.

| The students handed out donation information to go home today and ways to reach their community project. All donations are being collected until the first week of December. |
